RSS What's the advantage of emummc?

I understand emummc allows user to have a separate partition for FW, but compared with CFW directly loaded into onboard eMMC, what is the biggest advantage of using emummc when it come to practice? What I can think of is that you could leave sysNAND FW version alone when you need to update CFW. But if I understand it correctly, even if you update FW version, as long as you don't boot into OFW to burn the fuse, you should be able to downgrade it at anytime?
