RSS Trying to update Xenoblade Chronicles X: DE from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 not working?

Long story short, in order to use 60fps mods, etc, you need to use the 1.0.1 version of the game; however, whenever I install the 1.0.1 update and apply it, it doesn't apply to the actual game. Whenever you launch the game, it still shows that it's 1.0.0, and what's weirder is that when I install the 1.0.2 update file... it works fine, zero issues...

Note: this has happened to me with Yuzu and Citron.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?
