RSS Nintendo GameCube controller for modded switch 1

[GBATEMP]

Hi i have a Nintendo GameCube controller bought from Nintendo for use with the switch 2 NSO. I would like to also pair this on a modded Switch 1 with the latest Atmosphere release. Does not work out of the box but will an adapter like a Mayflash Magic S Pro or equivalent adapter plugged into the switch get it working? I don’t have any Bluetooth adapters but just exploring my options before I purchase them. Thank You
