Google Antigravity is Google’s new AI-powered development platform that shifts coding toward an agent-driven workflow. Instead of traditional autocomplete, it lets you spawn autonomous AI agents that can plan, write, test, debug, browse, and use a terminal on their own. It includes an editor that feels like a normal IDE and a manager interface where you oversee agent activity. Agents generate artifacts — plans, logs, screenshots — so you can review their work. Released in public preview in late 2025, it aims to turn developers into architects who guide AI systems rather than manually code every step.
