Following Nvidia’s announcement of its RTX 3000 mobile series, Gigabyte has announced additions to its Aorus and Aero lines which will incorporate the new GPUs. Gigabyte says they’ll deliver “stunning ray-traced gaming experiences in Cyberpunk 2077 and other AAA titles.”
Aorus laptops are traditional gaming laptops, while the Aero line targets content creators. The differences are largely external — Aorus products generally offer higher-refresh rate screens where Aero models opt for more color-accurate panels, and Aero laptops have a subdued and classy design while Aorus laptops look more like... gaming laptops. Inside, however, the chips are largely the same.
