So I've never linked my Switch user to a Nintendo account online, hacked it right after purchasing it and obviously never connected to Nintendo's servers because of it. When in the Switch UI, going to my user it tells me to link up to a Nintendo account online where otherwise would be the user statistics for each game (at least I think so, from checking out some sources online).
