To briefly explain my current situation: I had my Switch chipped years ago. Even back then, I noticed that although my Switch worked without any problems when docked and charged without any issues, all other USB functions didn't really work. Certified USB Switch controllers weren't recognised, nor were 8bitdo dongles.
