A new image of Apple’s long-delayed AirPower wireless charger has appeared on the AirPods page of the company’s Australian website. The image, which was spotted by Twitter user Michael Bateman (via MacRumors), appears to show an iPhone XS charging alongside an AirPods charging case. There’s no sign of the Apple Watch, which was the third device Apple initially claimed the mat would be able to charge.
The AirPower is an ambitious wireless charging mat that Apple announced alongside the iPhone X and iPhone 8 back in 2017. At the time, the company claimed the mat would be able to charge the iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch simultaneously. However, the mat has not been seen since its initial reveal.
