Hi. New to Reddit so apologies if I make a Reddit etiquette mistake. After many months I’ve finally got hold of a PS5 for my son. I have created a parent account on it and with Sony. I have created a child’s account for him. My son has a PlayStation Plus 1 year membership gift certificate which I wish to apply to his/our account. Question is, do I apply the gift certificate to my Sony PlayStation user account or his? Is there a difference if the gift certificate (PlayStation Plus subscription) is applied to a parental user over a child user? I hope my question makes sense. Look forward to all your wise help.
