RSS Switch Lite - Can someone check a point for contnuity for me?

I have a switch lite here with no backlight and I already replaced the backlight IC and it had no effect. I was looking and it seems that there is a point that should have contunuity in the ribbon cable but it doesnt. Can someone confirm on a working switch lite for me? I attached a picture highlighting the 2 points
