Sony promises more PS5 stock for the holidays after ‘unprecedented’ demand

Sony on Wednesday confirmed it would have more PlayStation 5 consoles available from retailers this holiday season after what the company is calling its “biggest” launch ever.

Without concrete numbers, we have no idea what that means — the company could be referring to how many consoles were actually purchased by consumers, known as sell through, or the less impressive number of consoles that are simply bought by retailers.
