I have my switch since about a year and the joycons have never performed really well while on "TV" mode. It was fine for me as I was travelling a lot and has scant access to a TV set . But now I'm back home and have a TC but I can't really play if I'm more than 1 meter from the dock. Both joycons will loose signal with the switch, and I tried with different TV sets, and in different houses (away from routers and other possible sources of interference) .
