Personal media player Plex told its users today that it’s shutting down its Plex Cloud service at the end of November, as spotted by Variety. The Plex Cloud service has had multiple technical issues and has been in maintenance mode for a few months.
The company said in a statement to Variety that “after a lot of investigation and thought, we haven’t found a solution capable of delivering a truly first class Plex experience to Plex Cloud users at a reasonable cost.” We’ve reached out to Plex for comment.
