RSS MAME cheat database not detected - how to add Cheat.Dat or Cheats.7z to Retroarch and enable cheats

i am using Mame2003-Plus and FinalBurn Neo

i want to use the MAME in-game cheats that show from the Dip Switch in game menu

i tried to copy the cheat.dat file to many places inside retroarch like:
System/mame2003-plus
System/Mame
System/Bios

the database never get detected inside the core

if someone manage to make mame cheats show up, please share where you copied the cheat database inside retroarch and what you did to enable them
