Hi, My friend gave me a switch that is neither not turning on or not displaying anything on screen.
On pressing power button switch processor starts to heat up as it can be felt from back cover getting hotter and more.
It stays at 0.42/0.46 amps when connected to charger.
I opened back cover to test shorts around BQ23193 and M92T36. Only cap that’s shorted to ground is at pin 18 VDDIO.
Anyone please had similar problem or any idea how to proceed to diagnose and fix it.
