So anyway, I was playing ff tactics and the cheats weren't showing up in tinfoil, so I read that updating the software might help.
I launched into AIO, and selected update atmosphere from ver 18 to 20. After the update finished, I realized I couldn't start tinfoil (error message, program cannot be started but games could still be played).
