This was a really fun challenge. This port looked just fine on the outside, the device showed all signs of M92 failure. Turns out damn near every pad for the top layer of pins had been torn away including DC-IN traces. Anyway I decided to rebuild it and figured I'd share how this was achieved. A ton of tiny hair-sized wires and some hot glue later and it
even puts out display port
