I got ReiNX on my Switch about a year ago, and had Switch version 8.0.1. I blocked updates on our home network, but my brother still got it connected and it began downloading the update. I had told him to not update, so I guess he freaked out and (or so he tells me, I don't know the full story) tried pressing the power button until it shut down.
