Apple at its "Unleashed" event today announced the M1 Pro processor, its custom-built successor chip to the original M1 Apple silicon chip, and nearly three times as powerful.
The new MacBook Pros will be powered by the new chip, which features up to 10 CPU cores, with eight high-performance and two energy-efficient cores. In terms of graphics, there are two variations of the M1 Pro, with 16-core and 32-core GPU options.
